McZonk from Team Emergency Exit has released a second patch for Quake II.
McZonk has been really working hard, especially having to do with exams. So head on over to his site and give him some props for doing a good job.
Here are some details:
Changes:
- graphic and game bug fixes, should run more stable
- 333 mhz support
- on screen keyboard (press left trigger in input mode of console or on text fields).
- player name is now saveable

2.6 doesnt have acess to flash so it can brick psp from 2.6 homebrew
plz clear your mem stick
charge the battery
or take battery out while your playing it that normally works
do not freak stay calm
and quake was tested with many users including myself who personally tried to brick myself with a 1.5 psp
plz dont freak your psp is loading a black screen form preloaded stuff
if the battery thing dpesnt work press and hold the off button for 30 secs till it shuts off

Yea the psp crashing whing happens a 2 me with hombrew sometimes. Just gotta hold onto the power switch 4 a while till it turns off, then hold it 4 a while 2 turn it on.
If nuthin happens remove the baterry and try again.
If nuthin still happens charge ur psp!
If nuthin happens ur screwed.
Man never be a dummi and be one of the first ppl who try out a homebrew with v2.6 it’s really unstable. like what 23 said. but try banging on the floor a few times that always helps (well that was with my ps2 and my gba.. well everything that is made in China lol but true.) or if your psp came with a warnity take it back.. but first format your mem stick with your computer.

I downgraded my psp, and it’s definately runnin on 1.50, but i can’t run any homebrew apps, but i can using the eboot loader……….WHY?
Will this work on EBOOT loader?
I just tried this with my 2.0 and it loaded the video I just could not play the game.

this doesnt work on 2.0 (yet)
not enough memory available
and 2.6 will almost never happen since an eboot loader isnt finished for you
btw the truth of the matter ius we could probably have the 2.5 eboot loader up to date with the 2.0 loader if we didnt bother with 2.6
but we are giving it our all
