Fanjita has done it again! An EBOOT loader for firmware versions 2.0+ using the GTA save game exploit of course. Unfortunately it does not work for 2.6 firmware users.
Installation is simple:
- Use WinRAR (grab a copy at www.rarlabs.com) to unpack the archive into the root (the top-most) directory on your memory stick.
*Note - this eLoader utilizes slot 5 - any existing game using this slot will be overwritten. - You can see which slots are used by the directory name: ULES00182SX, ULES00151SX or ULUS10041SX. The ‘X’ represents the slot #.
- To ensure the eLoader is not auto loaded by GTA upon game boot, you can simply load an existing real save, and re-save. Or copy an existing save off your memory stick, and back to it again.
- Now copy your homebrew files into /PSP/GAME.
Utilization:
- Boot GTA as normal. When it has loaded, press start and select “Load Game”.
- Select the eLoader savegame and confirm the load as normal. The eLoader menu should appear shortly after.
- Using the D-Pad select the homebrew you wish to load, and press X.
- You can adjust the CPU clock with the L+R buttons.
- Holding L+R and START for a few seconds will return you back to the menu.

I got $20 waiting for fanjita if and when he hurrys his ass up and does the iso loader.
Then I will send him the money and go buy GTA. Till then the loss is to great because games are to expencive.
GTA is to expencive but it is worth it because of the hole in the save game slot.

got it working on my 2.0 with both loaders v0.9 and eloader beta working but not many eboots load on new eloader
got WAB Launcher 2.5, PDF Reader 2.5, PSPRhythm and VortexPSP V1.01A working so far on new eLoader Beta. I am working with a 2.0

yeah good news,but is this becoming more complicated every day?why do i’ve to spend 50$ for an unliked game to run homebrews and iso(maybe one day).can hackers just put the codecs needed to play the latest game o stuff like firmware changer…is it too hard?

Don’t bitch about something that you know nothing about, it is quite hard to do the stuff fanjita and all of the other coders have done. If you don’t appreciate it, then go away and buy the games. paying 50 dollars to run a bunch of different games on a 2.01 psp is fine for me, I have 1.50 and have been wanting to get gta for awhile now, just never did because I can play my other 30 iso’s. I would gladly pay 50 dollars for the game, gaurenteed I could now play games like the sims 2 and Exit.

damn, nothing will work for me, including the three games that fanjita has listed on his site to be working. Whenever i load up the eloader i get these three lines

Well this is great news. if you can run eboots its a matter of a very short time before a pure eboot, firmware downgrader is published. so just take it easy 2.01’s!

#33….having same prob..it says to copy folder to root….but it comes in a psp folder, if you do that it will over write all the other folders…so..i put the save file in the save file! and put the eboot loader inthe main file. mabey i was supposed to overwrite the psp folder? anyone help please.
copy the game folder that comes with it and click yes when it says to replace them then find out which save u need by the read me that it comes with their are 3 saves one for us, uk and another country then copy that to your save folder then u should be good to go i am still wondering if the snes emulater will work the same way to load roms. i mean do u need psp brew
You dont need an iso loader for 2.0+!!! All you do is load up pspSetx0.2 using this or a previous version of the loader, downgrade using that and then use a normal iso loader. THAT is why there is a lot of hype about all this!
FANJITA IS A AMAZING AND THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED PROGRAM IT. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE 2.60 EXPLOIT I HAVE 2.60 :( but I HOPE HE WILL CRACK IT SOON :)

well i’m still having the same Darn problem, i load the eboot it starts somtimes … lol most of the time it eather restarts the psp after i pick the game/app or right after i select to load the eboot. is anyone having the This problem and Yes i’ve installd it right
#48 i had the same problem too, but i had not installed the games right. if you can open the loader it is installed right, if you can not open the game you must look inside the game folder if there is a readme file wich will tell you where to put it. as default you put it in a folder with the game’s name in the PSP/GAME/ folder… that works for me! =D
I used to use 1.5, but then upgraded to 2.6. I am happy with the web browser and the rss music feeds, however I am getting excited with the prospect of going back to homebrew games again! Fanjita you are amazing, and the community thanks you for your help and dev kits! - Dave

yeah well my final fantasy IV (II for US) is preety sluggish, playable wi th everything at full but still sluggish, I excpected as much for megaman but not for this one, how about SnesTYL I hear it’s the best.
Naw i havent tried it, just casue i dont want to downgrade and im havbin enuf trouble tryin to get THIS loader to work and open snes games, i dont think it can brick your psp. I looked up the program on pspupdates and they have it, i dont think they owuld host a program that could brick your psp.
I hope next fanjitas project will be iso loader for fw 2.01 or downgrader!

I dont think its possible to downgrade from 2.01+ yet even with this new loader, fanjita would have posted it on his site or it would have been on the oither psp hackin sites.

yes num 56 but so was the snes emulater now it works. so it might because some programs are and some still have errors

Sik i finally got it to load up the laoder menu but when i tried to load Doom it crashed :( it just turned off my psp
man i wuz ded excited wen i saw this lol. but then the storey went on to say it wuznt for 2.6 :(. but fanjita is an amazing psp programmer and hacker and of course he will find out a 2.6 version woo!
it’s amazing how everyone is begging for the ability to play homebrew on 2.x and when they finally get it, all they can do is bitch about what they have to do just to get it to work. even more appauling is the fact that people are already bitching about downgraders and iso loaders. you people are disgusting.

Anyone know how to stop this auto-loading when i start gta??
I have a normal savegame in the first slot but the eboot loader still auto loads….therefore cannot play the game un;ess the ebbot loader is removed.

what exactly does this do?
this wont lead to a downgrade because the part PSPSet/MPH downgraders used is ENCRYPTED in 2.01+ so if you did try it it might break your PSP or might not do anything at all.
PSPSetX was designed for 2.0 only.

thanks fanjita!!! cant wait 4 2.6! i think that homebrew developers should take out the battery voltage and the cpu overclocking to make the 2.6 work (i heard that 2.6 prohibits these features). Also, people with bricked psps, just call sony and say that the screen turns on but does not boot, they will think its a power problem and you can send it in and get a new one. anyway,thanks again and keep up the great work!!! i think that sony will make another update in about 72 hrs or pull gta off shelves though
haha, good thing I got my PSP on eBay, which came with GTA too.
I am a loyal 1.5er, but want the browser of 2.0+… Can’t wait to see what happens in the next few months. I’m trying to brush up on my C, but I don’t think I will be of any help to the homebrew scene :P

Well I heard that all new gta’s to hit shelves have been fixed so that the save game explot cant be used, Any1 else hear this? If u guys dont have gta i advise u get it soon!! if 2.01+ is fully cracked i know i’ll be leavin my 1.5. Even if i have 2 start up GTA all the time

okay it seems like a lot of you are new to the homebrew scene.
1st thing first, do not, i repeat, do not try any downgraders! the downgraders are specifically for 2.0 firmware.
2nd, if your using the emulators and find it slow while playing the games,overclock the psp to 333, turn off the sound, and if you want change the frameskip to around 2-3.
3rd if your using 2.0, you dont really need this. you can just use fanjita’s eboot loader v09.
i hope all of you read this. i would love to help all who are still having trouble, but im not using this cause im just using the eboot loader v09. but if you think i can help you can contact my via aim or aol at m1ndle5sweirdo, or e-mail m1ndle5sweirdo@aol.com. i will try my best to help since im not using this specific loader.

NO! you can’t play iso’s using this. only firmware 1.5 can play isos. sorry for the caps and the “!” but i feel it’s the only way people would reat it and stop asking about it. again , sorry for the caps.

great job man i just update from 1.50 to 2.00 and i got the game and emulater works great u can make another save files for another programs keep it up 2.0+ iso loader comin soon guys :D
2.0 users - u can use this loader also to help in finding eboots that work. I have both loaders on my 2.0. Get testing!!!
