It works, but can’t view the Screen shot through PSP. View it from PC……It took abit long to take a shot….But it work great…..

Havn’t tried it yet, but seems like a useful program.

need to rename from “.Bitman” to “.JPG” to view it from PSP, more work…….

It’s a nice step in the right direction, but any screenshot taken with this program is ultimately useless.

I got it to work, there was something wrong with the folder names (they’re set to the corrupted data is hidden, so I undid that so it’s “normal”, and now it works).
When you hit select to get to the system menu, things don’t always work right. For example the first time I got a message saying I needed to update my firmware. The second time the PSP froze at the white screen just after trying to load UMD emulator. Running it with the current UMD seems to work fine.
Having to hold down L all the time is kinda annoying…plus what if the game needs to use L? I think there should be a complicated combo to get a screen shot, like L R X and square.
Good start, but far from good. Should be real sweet in a few releases.

Yeah right like it wouldnt be useful to be able to show someone what something looks like on PSP by picture instead of making them download and run whatever it is.

Now someone can post what thier homebrew game looks like instead of making us guess or download it first.

Anyway, a solution to the ripping in the pictures could be to freeze the game image so the picture can be rendered correctly.

Also, Select seems like a better use of a screenshot button, as very few games use it. Not to mention, having to hold down the L trigger seems someone pointless.

In the end, I’d rather useful screenshots with a pause during gameplay, rather than useless screenshots and no pause.

#12, rename the files example: pspshot and pspshot%, then use something like seipsptool to hide corrupted files.

would there b any way 2 hook up a camera (like an itoy) 2 the psp and make the image show on the screen then take a pic? in short, a psp digital camera?

Judging from the microphone that comes with PSP Talkman… I can pretty much GUARANTEE that there will be a cam for the PSP but it will be something you have to buy not something you can ‘warez’ It would be sorta cool if it came bundled with a PSP video chat proggy ;)

Anyways, I, for one, have firmware 2.60 and I’m just fine with it and in my honest opinion, this program is pretty useless.

this is nice it could be handy for the programers to show us how somthing looks, or if anyone needs help with somthing they can print screen and post it here

GTA is the only game i have and good ol edison carter hooked me up with a cheat divice that has screen shot mode. this is still a good idea though once all of the bugs are worked out.

interesting. this is ideal for snapping configs and stuff to help out on the forums.

Can anyone take a screen shot of the image that appears when you load up any game. It only shows for like 2 seconds and is spheres filled with color.

Nice Good stuff always wanted to take screen shots of the Menu System on the PSP. but its still a bit buggy when running games, but its okay. Cant take screen shots of homebrew games tho. So i guess i’m back with coding a screen cap for the game =P.

Don’t you think the best button to use to take a screenshot should be the equalizer button? Maybe the brightness button should do the job (without the brightness change, of course).
