I do not think you’ll be able to get everything you need onto a 32MB card. Between File Assistant, MPH’s Firmware Launcher and the actual firmware, it is right at the memory stick limit.

This will not run GTA LCS.

The point of this is if you have a 1.50 PSP you do not have a web browser or the ability to play AVC media. Before this program came out if you wanted those things then you had to upgrade or use a hacked web browser. In any case the AVC media playback simply was not possible unless you upgraded firmware.

With this program you can launch the 2.0 or 2.50 firmware without actually upgrading your PSP. Once launched you have a Web Browser & AVC capability.

I juz bought UMD game that require me to upgrade to 2.5 but I do not want to upgrade the 1.5 fw so I can use homebrew emulator. Any chance of this mph fw launcher allow me to boot the UMD and play the game. Any help is welcome.

#7 I believe you can upgrade to 2.0 (which you can downgrade from) and the use PSPsetX 2.0 to change the version to 2.5, since I don’t *think* it needs any things that arn’t on 2.0.

Great work on Firmware Launcher v1.3.7u5, very handy. Many people probably don’t appreciate or understand the work and steps that are being taken towards bigger and better things for 2.0 and eventually 2.5. Keep it up.

does the web browser on v 2.5 work for anyone cause it worked once for me and then i only got errors..

when i am downloading it, and setting it up, after I extract the DATA.PSAR to the memory stick, it says to download - psardump02a by PspPet (http://files.pspupdates.qj.net/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C38%2C599,1,0,0,40,947)
from that link but when i look for it there, its not there. Does anyone know where to download that so i can get that working? Thakns

Where do i get the flash0 and flash1 files? On the earlier version of this i think there was only a flash1 file.

#37, to get flash0, use the PsP_Firmware_Processor by djboo and it will create a folder in ur memory card 2 folders, the flash0 and the IPL folder (the contents of IPL will be moved to the root of ur memory card) u will then create a new folder and rename it to flash1.

Hey guys! I’ve tested this Launcher (with v2.0 dumped firmware), but my PSP just shows a blue screen with foreign words! Then it reboots back into v1.5!

uhm, if I understand this right, you run a 2.5 (or 2.0)firmware on a 1.5 (without upgradeing), like running linux on a windows system **and uh can I do somthing with the ir-poort of the psp?**
