I have to say it looks quite convincing if you’re not paying complete attention, theres at least 3 cuts in it, the main one being where the dashboard disappears & the supposed code appears on screen. Second is when he puts the disc into the 360, the camera jumps forward, suggesting another cut. Finally there is a 3rd cut right as he hits the button to open the drive.

This is just silly, why would they need a PSP to do this? USB is a standard interface, it would be WAY easier to do a trick like this using a standard PC and a male to male usb cable (which they could just make, usb cables only have 4 wires.) This video was obviously just put together to make hype and probably make some money off of stupid people while they are at it. Needless use of a PSP? 3 really bad cuts? It’s obvious that he created a file to run a boot sytem to by base and read burned cds without a mod. I’m sure if you can copy psp files into a Memory stick you can adventually creat a boot generator to run a burn reg. Xbox or X-Box 360 game.

Well actually what it would have to do is start the USB connection within the program, wich alredy has been done with FastLoader, then i don’t know if it could force info to the Xbox, or how Xbox manage incoming data by the USB port… I guess will be able to judge only when he claims what it does exactly, and we will see if it makes sense.

I think that everyone is missing the most obvious thing about this video that makes it fake. On the PSP in order for it to send any information from it via the USB, it has to be set to USB connection. Once it is set to that you cannot change it to the GAME function, as he does in the video, and still have it send information through the USB as far as I know. The XBOX will only recognize the PSP as a mass storage device during the the USB connection. Then all files on the PSP that you want, you will have to use the XBOX to sort or see them, just like you do when you hook it up to your puter. I have to agree that is a lame fake.

I don’t care wether this is fake or real. If it is fake it is still a possibilty. If it is real, sweet. It doesn’t really matter, within a short time there is going to be a swap magic or something to get burnt games going for $30-$50

And to #91, I am sure they can run a hacking program and have the usb connection going. When you run umd emulator or fastloader etc, the computer will detect the psp while you are selecting a game.

You all are forgetting one fact. The PSP cannot TRANSMIT across USB on it’s own. Only receive. Reason being is, the PSP is NOT a host. This is the reason there is no FTP client software, no video game controllers, nothing that allows the PSP to act as a transmitter. The only thing it can do is receive requests and handle them. So unless the X360 is “requesting” to be hacked, the PSP cannot do anything TO the x360. Nice try though.

Also, to all the people screaming “OMGOMGOMG it’s FAKE because of the cuts!” Come on…. if your going to dispute something, don’t dispute it based on video editing, because you have no proof. Find some real reasons to dispute it.
