UMDGEN v2.0 has been released - completely rewritten with some new additions!
New features include:
- Open existing PSP images (including VCDROMx images). UMDGen v2.00 will automatically re-calculate LBA positions to UMD standard positions and remove excess padding.
- Edit existing PSP images Delete folders/files, relink files, update/replace files, Add new files/folders, move file LBA positions.
- Extract the entire ISO or select Files/Folders to extract.
- Create IML/IMS Files From Existing ISOs and New ISOs. Usefull for RipKits.
- Automatically converts VCDROMx images to correct UMD Format when saved.
- Uses UMD-compliant padding for files (can be switched on/off)
- Firmware version detector. Displays required firmaware version for game to run.
Great release by the UMDGen crew!

?? Not sure what this does, Just looks like another umd emulator, doubt it will allow Gta on 1.5 but im deff gonna try it out
lmao … dude its a application for your PC, to rebuild .iso files after you remove excess files from them using UMDRIpper

Point 1. If you have to ask what this is… leave it alone.
Point 2. If you need to ask what an iso is… well go back to the store and tell them your returning it for an ID 10 T error. (be sure to write it down for them)
Point 3. If ANY software will allow you to jack cars with your PSP (aka run GTA) it will be Headline News. for days nothing but that will be on the front page of several sites.
Point 3. If any software allows you to Downgrade from 2.5 or higher see Point 2 for coverage details.
Point 4. Why do I bother? your still going to ask the BS questions anyway. I thought getting a PSP would atleast keep the nintendogs community out of my face, yet they still are here.

I don’t know how accurate the firmware version detector is. Tells me I need fw 2.0 and higher for WRC World Rally or PoP, but the games run fine on fw1.5
well when you say noobs i would consider them the people that always ask the same question time and time again on *every* bit of news that gets posted, a non noob wouldnt have to be a coder or anything just someone who understands what the hell to do with the softwear that gets relesed.

PSP 2.01 firmware unlocked

BTW: In my opinion, anyone who managed to run hacked games on their PsP system arent noobs, most ppl dont even know what a PsP is… so instead of whining, you could help us out with answers :). (ok agree those who just write “whats an iso” shouldnt start on this website)

I have to agree with a previous thread in reagards to stop being a bunch of punks and try and help resolve the so called “noobs” by answering the questions without ridicule if you know the answers. I have been with the hack scene for psp since the beggining and still run into issues where I’m not exactly sure what the new software is doing. Also if it wasn’t for a few really nice people when i first got started I would still be at a total loss most likely. Not everyone is extreamly capable on PC’s or with electronics so try and help em out if you know a bit(or alot) more than they do instead of trying to create this feeling of excluding anyone who doesn;t know as much as you, remember there was once a point when you also didn’t know anything and it took someone else (whether info was from a site or individual person) to help you out and get you started. All I’m saying is the only way to ever get people to know what things are is by helping them, being patient, and explaining what things do/don’t do and remember that even if you have told someone once before what something is/isn’t/does/doesn’t do that you may have to repeat it a couple of times because we as people (yes everyone) don’t always get things the first/2nd/3rd time so try and remember those things before you go trashing someone because they don’t know the same stuff you do…..and everyone have a great day :-)

This is not about GTA. I’m trying to find UMD dumping software. Looked around but can’t find it. Could some good samaritan point me in the right direction also can UMD dump be used with version 2.0 or do I need to downgrade. Many thanks!
From what i figured out it would be better to downgrade so go on: http://www.megagames.com i think and then you’ll find all the files you need! V2.00 to V1.50 and then there is a UMD dumper on there, from what i remember! hope that helps you out! :-)
