PSP Online Sneak Preview

I just received an email from XiGency with great news on a project currently in the early stages of development. The project is titled “PSP Online” and supposedly it will operate in a similar fashion to Xbox Live – allowing you to easily find and play games online for the PSP.
XiGency here, to tell you about my latest project on PSP Crazy Dev Team. Titled “PSP Online” the idea is similar to XBOX live. An easy way to find and play games online. Not only will this let you download and play any games designed for PSP Online, it will also let you Instant Message, send mail messages, chat in forums, and possibly browse the web.

If this is for real its gonna be great! Sounds promising. I just wonder how it will “let you download games” to play online O_o’ I could think of the game sharing feature integrated but not of downloading the whole isos depending on the game you wanna play. Anyway…cant await to hear more of that.
I think on the psp you should be able to talk to people with the psp and also people with the playstation 3. trying something new would never hurt and you would attract a lot of people into buying this product as well as for the playstation 3…
if you could also play games with the psp with people who have ps3, that would really bring a lot of attention towards ps3’s and also psp’s.
making games that are exactly the same as ps3 games and actually having them to be able to join other people, who have ps3s and psps would bring up the rate and value of both systems.
well…
thats just how i see it.
i have a psp and ps3, if you can combine both systems in order to play chat ect. ect. ect. use cameras that are compatible with the psp, and can be in chat rooms with people who have ps3’s as well as psp gammers.
i think honestly, the value, and rating in the marketing will rise.
i think if the psp had these features and for the ps3, they made an upgrade to make this happen…wow!
more people would be buying things, from psp and also ps3.
i spend money on my ps3 and if this would really happen i wouldnt mind buying things for this as well.
making games that are made for the ps3, for the psp as well i understand that you guys have some…
but if all games for ps3 were made for the psp exactly the same way, but not just partial games, ALL games, and also chatting, using video camera, ect…
it will bring customers and also, customers that you guys already have, will tell there friends, and word will get around, and it would be spreading like roaches producing!

all it would do, is bring more customers, and psp’s and ps3’s would be the best thing on the market, making them hard to be found in the stores, because people keep buying them thats when you guys could make multi-color psp’s, to find them in any color, or make the colors skins for ps3’s accessable to find in all stores…!

using the “same memory stick duo” type of memory card but making the sizes for information bigger… to like the sizes that the playstation 3 can hold up to.
and also being able to play online with people with playstation 2’s, and playstations as well.
making an exclusive playstation, playstion 2… i guess you could call it “the remake” and “Reincarnation” so those users can use it as well, and have all the ps3 users and psp users able to link up to them as well.
so anyone with a playstation weather its ps, ps2, ps3, and psp, can all link up and play games together…
make features on each system all the same.
have all accessories, open for each system, from getting online, chatting, buddy lists, screen names, playstation store, internet radio, downloading music, downloading movies,anything you can do on a computer, on each system…
wow!
you tell me you wouldnt buy any new system even if its a ps, ps2, ps3, and psp, espacially if the price range was affordable, and had all these features a psp, and ps3 had…!

WoW Guys, this sounds very good, but i cant wait till february :E
I can’t wait until this is released. I hope there’s some complicated instructions and hard-to-find files with a major chance it will mess the firmware up to the point of bricking it. Also it needs a lot of technobabble and unheard of acronyms.

Yeah, this _would_ be cool… until sony decides to make the connection data in firmware upgrades. Just think, every time you wanna play, yyou’ll have to have one of the latest firmwares, thats gonna suck. Im thinking of buying a GP2x though, so I can use my PSP at the latest firmware n use that for dev/homebrew. GP2x, made for homebrew, sharing, community. I wish sony would take a look at them.

this sounds pretty cool…but mostly likely…itll be like Steam for Counter Strike…it wont download the entire game, just the online version of a game….mind that..u need a cd key to play on steam..so ud prob need a key to play certain games to prove u bought it or something, that is if SONY is involved…if this is just made by us for us…EFF it lol we gettin iso’s!
