B.Cruisr3k was nice enough to email us his hex edited English version of Lande’s popular UMD Ripper. Here’s what he had to say:
i used a hex editor to do a quick translation for UMD ripper and thought you might want to post it for people that dont know spanish. i left the “about” page the same but added my name to the “ingles” page. some words would have been better than the ones i chose but i wanted to keep the strings the same length. just replace the exe file in the install directory and run it.
That’s it! Simply replace the UMD Ripper executable with this one, and you’ve got english!

#5 you need the microsoft .net framework. google it..
No matter what I do I cannot get this to work! I have an ISO in a folder and when I open it nothing happens!
hmmm with the old one i had the .net thing come up i havent tried to use this one, BUT THANCK GOD someone has translated it it used to drove me mad…
#7 you don’t drag the iso into a folder, you EXTRAT the iso files, then select it using the UMD ripper.
I really don’t understand the point of this…

SO I extracted the iso and I have selected every folder, and sub folder and STILL NOTHING!
even when i try to use…i have no idea what movies i am ripping or which soundtrack, so…its kinda useless unless you already have seen all the movies or need to rip ggxx because who needs a story mode on a jap fighter, also..what happened to updating the emulators? dgen released 1.20 and it is almost perfect!!!! sonic 2 has sound and alladins sound plays normal….did you guys stop caring?

I go to pspupdates.com more often now, because they always update so regularly. I used to like this site much more because of less ads, but this just stinks.
yea…me too. easy to navigate more user friendly, but now there is no substance, there have been new emu releases for every system and have reached near perfection, is this not worth the post? or do the editors go to other sites to get there stuff and are just too lazy to share?? i mean, i can get the other stuff elsewhere.. but this was my first site on this shit and it upsets me to see this happen. dont let this site fall through the cracks.

why was this done again?!? lande & co works on a perferct working version of an umd ripper for us!!! lande said, that he didn’t like it, that his spain version will be translated without his permission….. so why do you do that?
you’ll needn’t speake spannish to understand the umd ripper….

so…if i understand right;
step1. install UMD ripper on ur psp
step2. download a game and unpack it (unpack the ISO)
step3. dump the extracted ISO on ur PSP in the folder “GAME”
step4. run UMD ripper
step5. start with UMD ripper the game.
(or am i totaly WRONG)
