Where do you put the EBOOT? There’s only one EBOOT. I tried putting it in GAME but it didn’t work…

Ok this is what it does.

You need 2.0 with the Fanjita Loader. You put the eboot in a folder called PSPSETX under PSP/Game. Anyway after you put in the eboot go to fanjitas loader (get it at http://www.fanjita.org) download v8.0 v8.5 doesnt work for me. Then just click on the file and run it. Use the menu to select what to do…

You can put the eboot under PSP->PHOTO if you use fanjita loader v0.85. Thats what I did and it works fine.

Yea, there has actually been a downgrader for quite a while, but I dont see whats safer about the new downgrader, it still stops at 99%.

Yes it can. Upgrade to firm 2.0. play gta using the UMD. After you finished playing, use this tool to go back to firm 1.5 and play your ISO’s

to #39. yes you just need a umd that has the 2.0 upgrade on it and put the 1.5 upgrade on memstick in the /psp/game/update folder.

This only tricks your psp into thinking it is a 1.0 so it can run the 1.5 update.

every program and piece of electronic utensiles that we all use, come with the “Use at Own Risk” thing. I want to see a clear easily visable video.

I have used the downgrader inc in PSP set on my psp and I can comfirm that it works. Also to all the noobs, u know who u r, this basically acts as a firmware triker for firmware 2.0 so it is NOT a GTA ISO loader.

This is a great program! Great work! It’s better then the origional downgrader plus has all the extra features. And for the noobs worried about it writing to flash it has a option to edit the gameboot video! Even if you delete the gameboot video it dont hurt anything and it lets u restore it

I’ve just tested it, run it from the fanjita lodeaer and I was able to set the firmware easily to 2.0 and back to 1.5, but it DIDN’T run any umd emulation that runs fine on 1.5. So if you think you can play 2.0 games and then switch back easily to 1.5 with it’s set version in order to play your isos’- it wouldn’t work!

Are there currently any programs which allow you to keep 1.5 and trick your store purchased games into thinking you’re running 2.0? I did this a couple months ago with WAB. I’m a little apprehensive to upgrade and possibly mess up the Emulators.

…I think some people dont understand that this is only for PSP’s with Firmware v2.0.

So using this on 1.5 to trick the psp into thinking its 2.0, aint gonna work.

that work fine. If I upgrade to version 2.0 and use this program to boot iso’s and 2.5 iso’s,will going back down to 1.5 be fine? Will it run as it is now? (i don’t really give a toss about gta either b4 u scream at me). Just interested.

I used the PSPsetX and it downgraded it to 1.00 instead of the 1.5.. How can I fix this. I tried changing and it wont . I used the fanjita Loader v.08

Listen here. I hardley poast at all. First off n00bs who dont understand how to work this stuff. Leave theres no point in trying something that is so dangerous that it can brick your psp. If you cant be tought face to face then its better off that you do leave this alone.
Im not trying to flame its just people have been known to brick psps through this and even though this may be safer, it isnt brick proof. So leave it to the professionals or people who are expieranced enough to know what there doing.

Yeah Ive tried doing this for a 2.60 required update of firmware game – Street fighter alpha – using this and the eLoader from Fanjita. I set my firmware for my psp to think it was 2.50, hoping that it would accept this for the game, however it didnt :( and still asked me for the 2.60 update. Does anyone know what to do?
