For use on the Sony PSP with OS ver. 1.0 or 1.5
PSP Rhythm is a homebrew drum machine for the Sony Playstation Portable.
Inspired by classic drum machines such as the Linndrum and Roland TR-series, PSP Rhythm has been created to use the simple, yet effective 16 step style drum sequencer. PSP Rhythm incorporates the use of audio sample playback instead of drum synthesis. Version 2.0 has been directly influenced by one of our favorite modern drum machines, the Elektron MachineDrum. The most significant change between ver. 1.5 to 2.0 is our use of “parameter locks” (as used by the MachineDrum). Parameter locks enable you to change the pitch, volume, and pan per step to create moving, changing melodies and effects. This control over your sounds will give you much more creative freedom and allow you to not only use drums, but to use instruments in your music. Song Mode has been enhanced with a mixer function, allowing you even more versatility with your song writing. The user interface has been made more intuitive and easy to use.

Everyday someone with the same generic “Home brew sucks and I have 2.5 so I am better” post has to come on here and try to give everyone a bad time. Who cares if you do or dont like 2.5 O_o
This beat maker is great. I am having a blast. There could be some better options but so far its pretty cool. There are alot of fun things you can do with this and man long trips in the car just chillin making your own beats. Couldn’t really ask for more. That makes my psp a portable movie viewer, an mp3 player, VNC capable, internet browser, video game “console”, photo viewer/map display and there are tons more options like PDA able. “Hmmmmmmm…. I can’t really see why someone would actually like Hacks-n-Homebrew……….. Maybe its because there stupid like me DUUUUHHHH (throws up arms in the manner of “Handy Man”).
lets face it, 2.5 users are jelous cause they can’t downgrade…
