It would be nice if someone made a custom loader for this one so you won’t have to start UMD Emulator all the time.

i used to use homebrew but i updated to 2.5 and it is cool 2.5 browser faster than this one and the location free player rules homebrew sucks compared to 2.5

did you know if you downgrade from 2.00 all of your 2.00 info is still saved on to the PSP’s main unit? I upgraded my g-friends (which i downgraded a month ago) for the location free. Upon using the web browser, all of her bookmarks, history, and all of her accounts(gmail, yahoo, and blogs) were STILL logged in!!! And it wasnt stored on the memory stick because i bought her a new one. so be warned…. sony knows if you downgraded!!!!!!!!

Im trying to load the iso with umd emulator v0.8c but the psp freezes…anyone knows how to solve that problem??

put a UMD in the drive then set it to direct load you NOOB

I have saved the files in this order:
PSP-WEB-UMDEMULATOR-ISO
and then inside the GAME file is the UMDEMULATOR with the eboot file.Is that correct?

#21 in the root directory you should have the following folders: web, umdemulator,and ISO.

In PSP\GAME you should have umdemulator and umdemulaor%

and the fired up iso should be in the iso folder

I have a jap psp v0.10 can I use this browser?I used SEIpsp tool to convert the 1.50 to 1.00 but when i try to load the iso it just freezes…Is it possible to upgrade to japanese firmware 1.50?

hmmm… i cant get it to load. I got all the fiels in the proper directories and checked 3 times and the loader freezes every time! i set it to direct load and have a UMD game in the drive. I dunno whats wrong… Some1 help please!

Got it working but it seems to freeze in 333 mode while I am entering text (sometimes) and it doesn’t seem to want to shut down easily. But it does work faster the the Tenchi Browser but since I have seen a couple glitches I don’t see it as better/worse. Just another nice option.

does any1 no if u need a iso of fired up cause i didnt get 1 when i downloaded the file from psp-hacks i just got a web folder nand inside that a file.

sooo.. how about umdemulator 0.8v freezing when i have an umd inserted, got an UMD.. put it on direct load.. copied everything too the correct folders, and yes.. my psp is version 1.5 .. it even freezes on games..when i use “start emulation” fastloader doesnt.. what could this be ?

Wow a lotta people r havin trouble wit it, even i am, but hey lets make it easy 4 evryone, how about some one makes EXACTLY all the folders that go in the psp so dat all we have to do is copy all the folders and paste them on da root of the mem stick, as evyone knows u cnt send a folder so just put them all as a RAR or ZIP file that will contain these foders, then all we have to do is extract them to the root of the memorystick, after someone does this problem solved (until someone makes there own loader for the browser) i dont chek in here recently so some 1 please do me da favor of sending me da RAR or ZIP file to randomuser626@yahoo.com, thnks

nuts to this thing i got to one website it was running pretty good then all of a sudden it froze so i hit the home button and exit game and it just sat on “Please wait” I had to take the memory card and battery out to get the thing to boot back up again.

thats because you have the wrong settings in umdemulator.

don’t set the CPU to 333 leave it under 266 and set the emulation to direct load

hey, for some reason, i have everything set up, iso in the correct folder, all the files set up, but i can’t figure out how to set up a properly working network connection? what are the steps to setting one up correctly? it keeps saying “a connection error has occured” over and over again, but when i scan, i get a 100% signal…. hmm, any answers? thanks.

im having the same problem as the other guys. i used umd emulator v. 0.8c and i used the normal settings, but when i clicked on fired up web browser, it froze for 15 sec and the psp shut off. I try it with fast loader and the game starts, but when i go to download, it freezes and shuts off… anyone know the problem here?

Well i loved 1.5 but i needed to upgrade to 2.0 to use gta dammit. Maybe somebody will release a downgrader that you dont need full battery/ electricity cable to use…. We can dream cant we?

help! its the same problem here. i followed everything the instructions says but it just got hang after i start it using umd emulator v0.8c… then i tried using device hook v0.21 and i succesfully get into the game but again my psp hang after i press ‘download’…. help me!!
