you will ave to upgrade your psp version to 2.50 cuz the dvr is gonna be like the location free player. so you will need the locationfree player on your psp…and no 1.5 version changer will change that….you will nedd that program from sony…

#14 Homebrew is not just crappy games. Fastloader, UMD Emulator and version changer are all homebrew apps that circumvent sony’s security.

#14: If you think homebrew games suck, then you probably haven’t got a clue what it is all about. As #16 says: Version Changer and UMD Emulator is all you need to run Original PSP ISO’s.

True #17, you also forgot to mention that using an ISO instead of a UMD cuts the loading time out almost completely.

actually alias, its 2.0 and above because it encodes ONLY in AVC which is of course not compatible with 1.5 naturally, but thatq doesnt mean soemone cant code an AVC homebrew!

It is worth noting, a version changer will not chnge everything. Some features which are required to play some games and movies (and very possibly this feature) NEED the extra features to work. It may however be that someone will be able to create their own upgrade eboot, so that it carries all the new features but still has exploits available.

And further to my comment, their own copies/equlivs of Sony’s programs to make use of the new functions.

Homebrew really seems to have fallen to a useful halt. Linux or priated UMDs would be of more use.

I also think it is too much for something like that. I have the vosonic for $150 and an old 100gb drive. So for $250 I have plenty of space to watch tv shows ive gotten from tv, or D/L’d.
