I tried that with an old controler couldnt figure out how to fit on without probably fuckin up the button and then like 11 said the stick moves flat,not sure how it would work.Kinda of a cool idead if could snap on cause I hate the analog stick,they should of also put one on the other side,would of been perfect.

I did this on a broken ps1 controller, took the analog out, cleaned it up, and shaved it down so it wouldnt sit as high, it works like a charm. It sits lower, and it works well. You guys just say its shit, because you didnt even take the time to do it yourself. So untill you have done this yourself, and tweaked it alittle bit, shut the fuck up. You have no idea what you are talking about.

It seems the ps2 one isn’t designed to pivot around a sphere if it has the same hole on the nub’s underside as the psp’s nub. That would lead me to believe that it’s the same mechanism, the sphere is only there for it’s looks. I actually looked it up, it’s the same as the psp stick, a stick and a nub, only the nub has a bowl and the bowl is inside the controller’s case, however the mechanism is the same.

cool idea, but ti proabbyl makes it look like you got a ball in ur pocket. And the PSP nub works slightly different than the PS2 and all other ones. they have a round-ish shpe and the PSP one is designed sid-to-side and FLAT. Ill stick to my small PSP nub for now…

Get your old f’ed up PSX Dual Shock controllers with the screwed up cable and the eroded left anolog stick and the perfect condition right one to do this MOD… it isnt a stupid idea since most people after around 40 mins of PSP play get sore thumb joints from bending the bastard to much. this would make it alot more confortable for ANYONE. even u bastards. sony wanted the PSP to be flat. thats why the original size stick isnt on there. otherwise it would be…. But then.. trying to play socom on this, well… It doesn’t really function too well as a controller.. Maybe i shaved too much off? Or i dunno.. it just doesn’t work too well.. maybe i’ll try an after market brand

It’s pretty nice but i’ll stay with the small numb no need to say it’s crapy it works for allot of people with bigg hands so have fun with it bigg hand guys.
