Hi all. I have used this program and it worked fine but there was one little setback. I installed it and was mucking around on it, pretty stoked that my X button was now the selection button and i went into Photo. As soon as i enter Photo my PSP freezes for about 20 seconds then crashes and reboots. This is really annoying as i want to put Photos on it. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone know the solution? If so can someone please reply to this post or email me on kennyfesting@hotmail.com. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The instructions in step 53 work perfectly... even for a novice like me. First time, and i love it. It should be noted that it does not work for version 1.5.. i updated my sony from 1.5 to 2.0 for this feature.. hope to downgrade back to 1.5 and still have the buttons working.

1. Transfer the h.bin and buttonswap_files folder into the ms-root of your memory card, (not the mp-root were you put films, the ms-root is the first page that opens, with "psp" folder on it).

2. Open the Hello World app and take out the frame_buffer.png & the overflow.tif (note: your virus checker must be turned OFF to copy overflow.tif as this file has been listed by Sony as a malicious script. This is all we will need from hello world).

3. Transfer the frame_buffer.png to your photo folder (you'll find this folder in the “psp” folder).

4. Disconnect from your PC and set the frame_buffer.png as your background on your psp. (View it in photo option and press triangle)

5. Re-conect your psp to your PC and transfer the overflow.tif into your photo folder and disconnect again.

6. Enter the photo option again on your psp and follow on screen instructions. (note: this will flash your memory so ensure you have enough power in your battery so that your psp doesn't turn itself off mid-flash).

well done, if you have followed this properly you now have the european button format.
