this is better than the initial release… i couldn’t get burnout legends to load correctly from the main menu, but it did load inside the program. i still use fastloader 7… great app humma & friends!!!

If you use rip kits make sure to check that the rip didnt remove EBOOT.BIN. A kind sole on PS2NFO pointed this out, and guess what, it did remove that file from BOL, and guess what, it works now. It certainly wasnt hummas fault, rather the rippers who look for every last MB of space to save, which I cant blame them for. I’m back to being happy as well, I was bummed until someone pointed out this rip kit trick.

Ic that i’m having a little trouble w/UMD Emulator update to V0.8C.

What r the correct settings w/this UMD Emulator update to V0.8C, i’m use Death Jr.iso. I click on Death Jr. & the app freezes & then my psp turns off. I’m use fw 1.50. Some help plz, thx in advance.

#10. Simple, on the umdemulator (v0.8c)menu, change the ISO Emulation Mode to “System Menu” then select Death JR iso, and run it from the PSP Menu (like the v0.8)

Anyone else having troubles with seeing the text in ghost in the shell with this? The game seems to run, but without being able to read any menu’s or anything it seems a little pointless. I’m not using a ripped version of ghost in the shell, just the straight iso.

yes! no text in ghost in the shell here as well. nor with the latest devicehook. before the latest version there was text.

well, I think, nice work, but I have the same prob as I have with the 0.8 - coded arms (JAP) doesn’t load, there is just the “loading” screen and then… yeah, shut down. Anybody have any ideas? Ah: the (e)boot is still there

btw, has anyone tried Bleach 2? It has FW upgrade and though I’ve heard UMDemu bypasses the FW check, I’m terrified to brick my PSP, so can I try it safely?

#19 well, i have played bleach 2 on fastloader 0.7 and devicehook without any update-problems.. everything works as usual on 1.50 jap psp.

little tip: fastloader 0.7 and the UMDEmu on your psp, so you can use both progs if one doesn’t work with a game. thanks to the new “ISO”-Folder @ v0.8c

Hi, i had the previous version and it worked perectly. However with 0.8c when i try to start emulation everything just hangs within UMD Emulator and doesnt take me back to the main menu, i dont understand why this is happening =(

Solution: Buy games in your region code, insert them into the umd drive, play.

The new direct load and load options still only work with a UMD inserted afaik.

I highly recommend grabbing device hook .22

Emulate the umd, going back out to the system menu, the launch the same iso from device hook and viola!

the compatibility of fastloader/umdemulator and the beauty of NO UMD from device hook/hookboot!

Does UMD Emulator only play iso’s. Can it play the actual umd disc and bypass firmware update. I don’t have a big enough memory card to dump any iso’s onto.

Im having an issue with breath of fire 3 jap dmu loading it hangs at the NOW LOADING screen someone said they have it working on 0.8c anyone know how?

It works like a charm with FL0.7 but i dont like lugging around 2 apps for the same purpose.

i am a newbie and i would like to say the fastloader version7 is still the best and i tested the version 8 and i think the part where you have to do a hard reset for the psp to go back to the normal state are not good from my point of view.i am sure there will be a new version coming soon from you.By the way i would like say thank you a million Thx HUMMA & FRIENDS for creating a great program so that all the user that have a low income could test games before they buy the game with your fastloaders.

Ok everyone due to my heavy testing of all Loaders, I have come to the conclusion that overall v 0.7 is still where its at for Fastloader. Version 0.8 and 0.8c still dont seem to be functioning correctly. Also Madden 06 , and Winning Eleven dont seem to be working at all with the 0.8 or andy Fastloader for that matter :P

I thought with fastloader you can play an iso from your computer harddrive with use of an USB… was I wrong?

with umd emulator 8 im able to change some of the settings but with 8c I cannot change anything,it wont let me scroll up or down.Couldnt get madden to work with 8c but went back to 8 and it worked.Does anyone know why I cannot scroll up or down to change settings?

#28 i had the same problem - do you still have your sampler disc? i had a movie inserted and switched to my sampler umd and made the difference.

hey i was wanting to know what games you can play on this loader. ive had trouble using this loader im a newbie. i Can get the iso on and ready to play but it stops at the loading screen

This doesn’t work for me.. Im trying it with stuff thats been tested with it. Version 8.0 just returns back to the sony screen. 8.0c just hangs. devhook does however work. Any clues?

Use the following settings
CPU bus speed 333/166
iso emulation mode : Copy load
disc type iso: game
disc type umd: video
updater icon:remove
use boot bin:on
regioncode override:on
regioncode game:free
regioncode video:free
regioncode audio:free
Flash0 emulation:off
Flash1 emulation:off

When you run it be patient as it takes 20 seconds or so to do anything and the screen goes blank

Anyone had anyluck with the Lord of the Rings Tactics? I have tried all different settings combos with no success. I did get the ripped version of just over 100meg though, maybe the eboot is toast. I am using my region for the umd drive.

Thoughts anyone? TIA

I’ve got a friend trying to use UMDemulator with her downgraded to 1.5 white PSP. Does she absolutely have to have a UMD in the PSP for the ISO to run? Or is there a way to do it without need of an ISO?

i bought my psp and it had v1.52 then i upgraded to v2.0, then downgraded to v1.5 to install the umd emulator. Anybody know if the emulator will still work if i upgrade back to v2.0???!!!

I have a v1.5 psp i have umd emulator v0.8c. I have all my settings set proberly on system laod ect and i have a umd inserted. When i click click on chosen game it goes to psp screen then i click on the umd it loads and then comes up with game couldnt be started (FFFFFED3)

however…when i entered the game using this emulator…the whole screen froze..i had to restart the whole psp

im sure many ppl have this same problem (#28,44,49, 54)….plz help…is it because the games were not suitable for the emulator?? any ideas where do i get those downloaded games suitable for the emulator?

I have 3.03 oe-b. Installed all the folders as directed. In the game folder of the memory stick, I have two files that are corrupted. When I try to execute anyone of the two, it says game file is corrupt.

How can I fix this?
