Just a question. Are the Gamma packs (1-3) released in Japan compatible with the US version? Or do I need to download the Gamma packs on the US site? Little confused on this one. (sorry) I have the US version of the game, but a japanese PSP.

The us download packs go with the us game, the jap download content goes with the jap game. The psp doe not influence anything.

The US packs also don’t work with the UK/AU version, which I just picked up, since I live in Australia and my US copy wasn’t multiplayer compatable. The Gamma packs are available as a single download for UK/AU users, so I hope you guys host them here, since I have nothing but trouble with the official site.

But on a side note, the AU version has multiplayer sharing, which means you only need one copy of the game. It also came with a trailer for MediEvil and a multiplayer demo of Fired Up. Almost worth losing my Veteran save file ;)

Cheers for the download guys!

Does V2.00 firmware allow multiplayer sharing? and is it really true that US copies are not multiplayer compatible with EU Copies?

If so someone shoot me now!

There are no US/EU games that support game sharing. There are plenty that support multiplayer tho if you both own the game.

Namco Battle Museum (USA) supports game sharing in a very limited fashion. You can send a one-level demo of some of the classic namco games to another person.

No full game sharing tho.

For you guys with the European version of Wipeout, here’s a direct link to the Gamma Pack download (Tinyurl to Sony’s server):

http://tinyurl.com/arvg6

Download the file (it’s a Zip file), rename it to something.zip, and just unzip to your PSP’s memory stick.

What do you mean that no US/EU versions supports game-sharing ?
I have an EU Wipeout Pure, running on an EU PSP (v2.0 firmware) and it shows me the option to share the game. And it’s even explained in the Wipeout manual.

Is game sharing to do with stuff on the software rather than that to do with the Hardware?

If so I was wondering if I went to buy another copy of Pure that is an EU Version will the game sharing work on my US PSP?

So far I wish I had waited for the EU launch. Sony are giving away soooo much stuff in the form of UMD movies and downloads for free, I guess it was a message to those of us who got on the bandwagon early

I’m not disappointed I didn’t wait for the Euro launch… I’ve had months to brush up on my Wipeout skills when it comes time for multiplayer.. I got back 35 medals in one day when I got my Australian copy of the game.. ;)

As far as I know, multiplayer sharing should work with a US PSP… At least I hope so, since I’ve got a Japanese PSP, so if it doesn’t work with the US system, it might not work with mine… But it would be pretty stupid if only Euro systems supported game sharing..

I noticed that Race Driver has an icon for a 1.5 upgrade in the Game menu on the PSP, whilst Wipeout Pure has a 1.52 upgrade icon. I haven’t pressed either, as I’m scared it’d just automatically update my 1.5. I’ve used the program that tricks the PSP into thinking it’s running version 2.0, so are there any EU users out there running 1.5 who’ve got the game? It doesn’t try to force you to upgrade, does it?

What packs are coming out?

The Delta is already available in japan and they got a special edition coke level as well.

Now you say that the omega league is exclusive to the EU so perhaps its worth gettin all of the games from each of the regions
