I'm going to do this, the only reason I will is because batteries have limited recharges, and my original 1800 mAh one has roughly a 30 minute charge. Anyways, I suggest doing it, it won't waste money if your battery is already dead!

To all those dumbass bashers, this is great discovery for when your original stock battery finally dies and you dont want to fork out $45 to buy a new one.

Keep up the good work, tntpsp.

So, using only three 1.2V 750mAh batteries, connected together, can only become 3.6V 750mAh

tntpsp, just ignore those bashers. bashers, shut up already.

I read this site about rebuilding a notebook li-ion battery pack:
http://www.electronics-lab.com/articles/Li_Ion_reconstruct/

The battery is 10.8V 2600mAh and inside the battery are 6 3.6V 1300mAh li-ion cells. The cathode+ side of a cell (cell A) is connected to the anode- side of another cell (cell B), ending up with 3 "pairs" of cells. The cathode+ of each pair then are connected together, same with anode-, then to the control pcb inside the battery.
