It removes the ingame music, and the introduction movies.. All sound effects are still there..

Hey GOTXP, I’ve ripped the wipeout, put the ripped DATA.WAD back into the folder, and i’ve converted the files back into ISO format using WINISO. When i try to load the game by using FASTLOADERv0.5, it freezes at the Sony Entertainment screen and then reboots. Any ideas?

hmmm. well im one of those poor ppl w/ a 32mb stick, so i was thinking of trying out the browser, im currently using tenchi mon’s stand alone, would this be a step backwards? how do they compare?

I’m even poorer and don’t own a wipeout UMD, so is downloading it from somewhere out of question?

@16 the tony hawk ripkit deletes only the movie and music folder. that i can make by myself, too.

when i delete the steam folder too the game is only 587mb small and it works. but the wad file got +500mb (i think there is a lot of shit in) and i cant find a program that can extract/pack it.

@16 The Program is in the Ripkit Idiot thats why I referred you to it.. Use the Thug.exe file

Y doesnt this site put the wipeout browser on here like they did with the tenchi mon’s stand alone browser. Or can someone help me get that, I have wipeout pure but i hate going all the way to the menu to use the internet. and the tenchi browser SUCKS because there is no back button. people say it has a back button but it doesnt.

You can kind of hack a back button into the Tenchi browser via the index.html file. It requires an extra click or two to use, but it’s functional. That’s probably what people are referring to. The Wipeout browser is fairly integrated into the program of the game, so it’s kind of hard to seperate it out completely (but might not be impossible).

works but freezes when i put it to sleep while playing the game and when i turn it on its stuck at the screen then shuts off. I have a gig stick so put the original back on.

WEB BROWSER PROBLEMS… I have NOT been able to get the browser, namely “DOWNLOADS” to work off of Wipeout Pure.

I’ve even pulled my own ISO off my own UMD, does the Wipeout Pure loader interfere in any way!?

ok i was trying to put a theme on my psp and then u know when u go to that recovry mode will i went to that, then clicked advanced and then i click usb flash 0- i got the windows thing on my computer bc my usb was pluged in so then i moved all the files that were on that to my computer and restarted my psp and nothing came up, just the green light turned on so i guessed that that was the icons and everything so i really need help from any one.
