Comments (3)Possible 1.5x Downgrade Coming Soon?
greg | August 28, 2005
Earlier a few related PSP sites have posted information regarding a possible downgrade to be released on September 1st. This downgrade is pure speculation at the moment; however, it’s supposed to downgrade 1.51 and/or 1.52 to 1.50. Yoshihiro is responsible for this downgrade but has yet to release it due to bugs and other issues - i.e.) the risk of bricking your PSP. No less, stay tuned for Sept. 1st to see what comes of this potential downgrade!
Thanks to TALL_GUY and Anthony for bringing this to my attention.

Comments (13)WAB Firmware Changer v2
Alias420 | August 25, 2005
WAB has released version 2 of their firmware changer. The homebrew software can only run on 1.0 & 1.50, it lets you change the firmware version that is reported to any UMD trying to force you to update and allows you to play your game. All you do is run the EBOOT.PBP as usual choose the firmware you want then play the game if you need to change the firmware back just run the EBOOT again. As always you can get it from our downloads section or by clicking here
