This is a multiloader? How do i put the prx’s in the X:\common\prx\GameModules\ folder with out the different games prx’s over writing eachother? or do i have to change out the prx’s everytime i want to play a diff game?
the prx’s are the same
Excuse my stupidity but what the hell are “prx’s”? I’m lost I guess. I was unable to test these last batch of loaders because I’m unsure of “prx”. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Anybody got this to work?
http://www.tiscalihomeonline.co.uk
I got it to work just fine. The PRX files are basically driver files from $ony. They are the exact same files for each different game. However some games requires more or less of them as each one does a specific job.
I’m running Ape Escape and Lumines both on the same MS and I can load either one of them at any time.
I haven’t tested any of the WiFi capabilities.
I can say that the overclocking does help. There is this one level in Ape Escape while going down a large hill the game bogs down and becomes choppy. I can repeat this every time I go down the hill. However, when I run the game at 333 it never bogs down on that specific part of the game. So it IS helping.
Yes but at what price ??? would never overclock my psp if it was ok to sony would have made it run at that speed in the first place!!
SEE MY POINT ??!!
If all the PRX files were identical (since they’re common) — then why are there different file sizes? Lumines and Dead To Rights both have PRX files with the same titles, but they’re different file sizes, shouldn’t someone make a folder for each game?
Phil, go to the sony site, look at the specs for the PSP. The only reason that sony has games run at 222Mhz is to save battery life. The PSP is perfectly capable of running SAFELY at 333Mhz. It was designed to.
Hey ISOHaven, what did you name the lumines folder… i named it LUMINES_ but it wont show up under the launcher.
if its designed to run at 333 then why is it still at 222? i mean you would think they would have fixed this batt. thing by now.
and would games designed to run at 333 look alot/play better?
The graphics would be the same, but the frame rate would be improved. And yes, it is a matter of battery usage, because the PSP has so many power consuming devices on it. It’s a lot harder than you think to create a battery that will power a miniature hand held computer.
I’ve already given my findings on the overclock.
phill, you are very confused. $ony DID make it to run at that speed. This is a variable speed system. Developers have to do NOTHING and the system will run at 222. Anyone, if they so wish, can develop their apps to run at 333. I’m sure games will be released in the future that will run at 333 as well if they need them to. Hell, there could be games now that run at 333. You’d never know. I would assume it’s ultimatly up to $ony to decide whether or not they would license the game at any particular speed. Now that they fixed a pretty decent battery problem with the v1.5 firmware they might not care anymore. Either way I’ll be getting my extended battery soon so I REALLY don’t care.
ch4rm, I can’t answer that question. I specifically looked at 4 different ISOs and all the prx files where exactly the same. So, my findings are based on 4 ISOs. If anyone else would like to take it from there….
Nick, I named it LUM_GAME
I’ve gone ahead and made a list of games that work with this loader.

ISOHaven, how big is your MS, and how big is Ape Escape iso? I can’t dump my Ape Escape umd to my 512 Mb MS. Please help me… we need a program to dump directly to PC.
whats all this talk about prx. i’ve ran 3 different games with loaders and none of them had prx files. and if you can’t dump your game onto your stick because it’s too big, just download it.
does someone need me to make a prx tutorial?
id like if some one made a prx tutorial in coded arms theres only one folder holding prx files how do i use the kmod file if i cant find the other files and then where do i put them in the end ? n e ways thanks if some one could help us with that
Yes, a prx tutorial would be greatly appreciated :D

Enjoy! Post it around the forums!
I was able to get NBA 2k2 to run with this loader. But when I went to add the dead to rights prx files to X:\common\prx\GameModules\
Along with the NBA 2k2 files several of them where named the same but where different sizes and it asked me if I wanted to replace the file. Has anyone else had this prob? Putting them in diff folders did not work (they where not found by the launcher).
If ALL the prx and kernl are the same maybe someone could put a file together and share them.
oleguzbek, I have a 1GB stick.
Ape Escape is a large one, about 780MB.
Do you still have to put the loader into the PSP/GAME folder? or is that unnecesarry.
the loader goes in PSP/GAME
the game goes in ROOT
i.e: PSP_DRIVE:\
hey guys some games dont have kmodule prxs right? for example coded arms? i wanna run coded arms with this loader and it isnt working for me. does it work for you?
and when i try to run metal gear the PSP shuts off WTF! has this happened to you guys??? any help please?
and by the way, i still havent found my first kmodule file. I have tried with hot shots golf, metal gear and coded arms.
can sombody list in deyails on how to use it or how it works
loder for dummies
check my web pages above, they’ll tell you whether the games are working and how to get them to work, if possible.
it doesn’t work on my psp 1.5
FYI ALL:
I’ve got the following titles to work with this loader:
- NBA 2005 (USA)
- Puzzle Bobble (JAP)
- Smart Bomb (USA)
- Word Puzzle Mojipittan (JAP)
The rest I either don’t have or couldn’t get to work.
I can only get this to work when I change the name of the games back to psp_game on the ms, just like with the 2.5b loader. I thought this update was suppose to multiload from the ms.
Did you remove the old patched BIN files?
Do you need to have a UMD in the tray o does it work without it.
so i put the games in the root and the loader in he psp/games
i have got msloader and when i load the game it says it says,
patching BOOT.BIN NO require PATCH
help please
