Recent PSP Hacks Issues only Display Headlines

greg | June 29, 2005

Recently we’ve been experiencing an odd problem where users may only see a story’s headline - this is a result of either your cookies or your browser’s cache. Flushing both may be required in order to view the page in it’s entirety.

I’m posting this in the comments area also because people who are experiencing this problem won’t see the solution. :)

I visit this site more than I should, and have never had a problem. I normally use Firefox, but on occasion IE, and either way, its all good!

I reread what I posted, and when I said “more than I should” I meant to imply I am a PSP addict, the site is great!

Glad to see you all are figuring it out. I threw my 2 cents out. If your STILL using IE, make sure your cache isnt larger than ~100mb. IE by default uses a percentage of your drive for cache, and now a days most ppl have 20+ gb’s and they didnt account for that, so it makes your cache frik’n huge (which MS didnt account for).. 100mb is all you should EVER need.. thats the HUGE side even. IMHO..

Ironic.
You post a fix for people who are having problems reading the articles, and you post it as an article.

it will just frustrate them more when they see the title “Recent PSP Hacks Issues only Display Headlines” and no text to help them fix it :P

#17 they can still read the comments, that is what he states as the first comment, you should pay more attention.

#13 I give IE 20 GBs of cache, lol, you think 100mb is a lot

i’ve done everything you guys mention to fix this…to no avail. this has got to be more than just a full cache. if this isn’t fixed soon, i’ll be forced to find another psp-hack site that doesn’t have these issues.

I managed to fix this, all it took was using a different browser. I was using mozilla 1.x, switched to firefox 1.0x and now it works just fine. Let me know if anyone else was having this problem with mozilla or if it was in other browsers as well.
