The Rat: The name of the program is “PSP Launcher” you will have to deal with that. You didn’t invent it so you dont get to name it, get over it. We didn’t say this will play UMD’s so far it looks like all it will do is “launch” homebrew apps. I think we inform fine, it’s your comprehending that seems to be the difficulty.

I think the name “Launcher” is confusing some people. Beside, it doesn’t matter what it does just as long as it works on 1.5.

As for the counter on the site, it needs to quit smokin too. I’ve seen it say something higher 30 minutes after I saw it the first time. Right now it wont even show. It aint workin right.

It’s a Java applet so it is most likely seeded by the time of the client machine viewing it. It will give different results depending on what your windows time is set to. It didn’t have a certificate with it so I dont believe it could have the time set on the server side. A PHP clock probably would have been a better idea.

To end all confusion over when it really is happening, it’s going to be Wednesday at 9:00am EST and 6:00am PST in the states. That is, if they stick to their time schedule.

If Dracula actually does come out, just put up a torrent for it. That will handle the load, even if its only like 100k, theres little risk in it going down.

The only bad thing about the video is that they clearly do not want to show the ‘hold’ button, meaning the video could be fake.

Including the memory stick and system specs pieces, they could all be part of that movie. It would take good hand/eye coordination, but if they really wanted full belief in the public they would have showed the ‘Hold/Power’ button

Dave, the .IND files are Index files (It’s a sony standard used on CLIE handhelds) and the .Trashes is from your having plugged that Mem. Stick (or PSP) into a Mac computer at some point. That’s the Apple version of the Recycle Bin basically. The 501 thing I’m not 100% sure of the purpose of but I’ve seen similar stuff show up on my drives/flash cards/etc after using OSX to read/write so I’m guessing it’s similar. Not needed though for a healthy, functioning PSP. Feel free to delete that and the .Trashes folder if you want.
